Hypothermic Half Was Run Today

This February 5th race was run today in Edmonton. I don’t know how anyone did yet, but I will try to find out. I ran 13 miles today in a -12 degree wind chill. Winds were up to 50 km per hour. Around the 10 mile mark the wind took its toll and I discovered I was on the verge of injury so I slowed down. I managed to finish, avoiding real injury. I ran it in just about 3 hours. It was hard.

Although I did not compete in the Hypothermic half, I will be competing in an identical event this March 5th.
