Day out with Friends

I went to Edmonton for a bike ride on the river valley trail system. The trails sometimes go along the road as in the pictures but a lot of the time they are farther from traffic and much nicer. What I know of Calgary’s trails is that they are closer to the river (elevation wise) whereas Edmonton’s river trails are perched on cliffs higher above the river. I gotta tell you Calgary is way nicer. Candy is Rod’s daughter and Rod is my business partner (together we own and run Jar Media Ltd.), and of course, Marilyn is my wife. By the way, Jar Media Ltd. = Jar = John and Rod. JAR. Get it? We went 21 km today. It was my first time riding in the city. I have to say that it was enjoyable but I prefer my country haunts because there were too many people for me to go fast. I like to go fast and far. Still it was fun. I will do it again. Next time it’s Rod’s turn to visit me and I’ll take him through some country roads.
Marilyn, and Candy is sitting with Rod.

Marilyn and a view of the trail.

Rod’s daughter Candy, my business partner Rod, and me. I guess.

The Candy and Rod show.
