Possible problem with the upcoming 5Peaks run in Devon

I ran the course for the first time yesterday and discovered that the Way of the Cross hill was closed due to a massive landslide that is dumping the hill into the ravine below. Only about 20 meters or so is closed off by signs and a plastic fence. I ran through it anyway and it is passable yet still dangerous. I contacted Kamren Farr of 5Peaks about the problem and he will be checking it out today. I don’t think the race will be canceled, but it may be that the route will be changed. Only Kamren can say…

So ya, I ran the 7 km course yesterday with Marilyn and took it very easy because Marilyn is just getting used to trail running and has to nurse a sore quad muscle. So we walked a lot with me like a puppy dog running up every hill as fast as I could then running back down to re-join Marilyn and walking up again.
