I hate winter…
Just so you all know, let me be perfectly clear: Winter sucks big time. I ran 11 km today in 1:34:12 (an 8:34 pace) and it was bitterly cold with a stiff breeze. It was – 21 C to -27 C with the wind chill. I was not over or under dressed. The most important items not to forget are the toque, and a neck tube, the areas of your body that lose the most heat. I have never had a problem with cold feet even with my everyday socks because there is so much warm blood being pumped through that it makes no never mind. I had on four layers, one cool max t-shirt, one long sleeve cool max, a long sleeve sweater and a thin windbreaker. I had gloves too.
