An appeal for you to use proper English grammar…

I don’t pretend to be an expert on English grammar, but I try to follow the rules. Here are 6 quotes from random comments in YouTube. I chose these at random and I have to say that based on the sample of videos I have watched (and that is a lot) that this is typical of the standard of English language used. You can usually tell which comments have been made by non English speaking persons and I have tried to avoid quoting or complaining about those except for example 6 which comes from a person whose first language is not English. In these quotes, I have neither added nor taken away anything. The actual content and context is not important.

1. hey maby think about a hear cut , or just something diferent then you could get a job at mc. donalds lol

2. yes, people are so stupid in the past that when they saw anything that they couldnt explain with their current science, they thought it had to be supernatural although i am i christian, i beleive that heaven is perhaps a city on a planet in the distant galaxy

3. meh… dunno what to think cause i do belvie there must be soem kind of life somewhere in the universe but this im not sure about. =p

4. this video sucks, there is only one face , piramids are more probable, not a human skeleton, all the things you show in here just imagination, except for the first face and some piraminds, not animals or skeletons and stuff, and look at the size!!! i belive there was inteligent life on mars, i belive they buit the face, the piramids, most of thoes images are just coincidence…

5. what i do anythink they say i just think the complet opisit and i know im proble right sumetimes both are right and neather will amit it i think its just funy because thats were ….. lives and i wish i could tell sumebody ?

And finally a forgivable one since the writer is not versed in English. Sometimes you can tell the person is not English speaking from his user name. I won’t post any user names here.

6. Well…it is a possibility that life on Mars could ended because of a cataclysmic event which could be connected with planet Nibiru passing by. But that is just a theory. We need facts, and some of images taken on Mars surface are so similar with the images taken from our planet in search of archeological items burried underground. Excuse my poor english…

OK, now that I have posted some not hard-to-find examples, I would like to help these people. If you are one of these English-challenged people, do us a favor and either refrain from posting, or dictate your comments to someone who can translate it into proper English. I believe that you are all very intelligent people and I want to help you. You can’t be taken seriously and your valuable ideas and thoughts can’t be taken seriously if you can’t articulate them properly. And I want to take you seriously and treat you with respect. So please make an effort.
