I was going to start a rumor about Steve Fossett…

I heard the other day that this man was finally declared legally dead and that inspired me to start a rumor about Steve Fossett, the rich adventurer who disappeared during a solo flight in Nevada. I was going to post this note and say that I would deliberately start a rumor that Steve did not crash but had deliberately flown over and landed or was shot down over the restricted Area 51 and was made to “disappear”. I wanted to prove that even though I would precede this rumor by declaring it was a total fabrication on my part and that I had absolutely zero evidence of any kind, the rumor would quickly spread through the internet and become either “fact” or urban legend.

But the idea already is out there apparently.
