Karate 39

I had the honor of a visit at the dojo today by my spectacularly beautiful, talented, and hugely smart daughter Morgan. MM and I managed to pick up our orange belts. That’s the good news. The bad news is that I so thoroughly enjoyed the last time I was deathly sick with the flu that I would try another variant. Let’s see, when was I sick last…ummm…must have been what, a few weeks ago? I started out with a sore throat this morning and by evening I was at death’s door. OK, so maybe I’m not quite dead yet.
But this is really starting to impinge on my training time. I’m supposed to do a 17 km run tomorrow. Where’s the justice?
