Run 47, 2008
Another 8 km bites the dust today as I tried to slow down a bit, doing the 8 km in 57:47 for a 7:13 pace. I wore my heart rate monitor today for the first time in like, forever and it was too difficult for me to get an accurate average heart rate. But I tried to keep my heart rate down below150, I think my average best guess is somewhere between 145 and 155. Maybe some day I can get me a fancy electronic gizmo that will give me all the gory details. Of course every time I try to drink I can’t breathe and my heart rate consequently goes up much higher; it goes up when I climb even a moderate hill; and goes down when I run downhill or on the flat.
