Run 48, 2008
I didn’t sleep very well last night so it was with great reluctance that I got up at 7 AM and headed out for my 17 km run. Also, it was quite chilly (8 degrees C), with overcast rain clouds and wind. Luckily, I did not get rained on during the run though. I met a friend of Marilyn’s at the bird sanctuary and I stopped to talk to him for about 5 minutes. I should have stopped my stopwatch but I didn’t. Also I had to make use of the outhouse on my 3rd lap. In spite of those delays I still managed to post a time of 2:11:52 for a 7:45 pace.
