We are going to go three days in a row starting Thursday to various dojos because Tsumura Shihan, our chief instructor of Shito Ryu Itosu Kai in Canada will be coming to Edmonton to give special seminars. I think he is the only 8th Dan Karatedo and 5th Dan Kobudo outside of Japan. He is flying in from his home base in Toronto.
Thursday’s class is 2 hours as usual but Friday and Saturday will be 2.5 hours each and combines karate with kobudo Bo. I am just a wee bit concerned about the bad timing for this event since Thursday night’s class begins at 7 PM and I have to donate blood at 5 PM. It’s going to be a tough three days.
