Run 93, 2008

Another 11 km today in 1:17:57 FOR A 7:05 pace happened in terrific weather. I am loving this “winter” since it is so dry and warm and has not “precipitated” for three months already.

I am also happy that my knee has not hurt me yet. I am also quite surprised at this fact. I am wondering now if it is because I am wearing knee tensors, or if it is because I have switched permanently to my “new” (less than 100 km on them) shoes and retired my old ones (which only had about 650 km on them). My old ones are coming apart in the outside of the left foot. The sole on the bottom has peeled away a little just behind where my little toe is.

Anyway, again I wanted to go slower than what I did but since there was no trace of what has been bothering me lately, I decided to just go at a comfortable pace, and not try to push it too much.

I’ve given up wondering what the hell is going on with that, so I’ll just sit back and continue on, waiting for my MRI appointment to hopefully show nothing at all.

Next scheduled run is Wednesday, and I think it will be just a 5 km indoors, but we’ll see about that.
