Run 96, 2008 The Dog Days of Winter?
I did complete the 11 km run but my time is trashed. Although I ran at a very good clip for a while, I lost at least 15 minutes when I was brought up short because I got cornered, or “circled” by a pack of 5 dogs. I was pretty upset about that. I still am. I was running on public roads, but dogs don’t really care about that. And I don’t blame the dogs, they are just doing what dogs do. So anyway — on the way there I was chased and barked at (as usual) by the same old dog who does the same thing to me every time. I just totally ignore him and keep on running.
