Solstice 2008 has come and gone!
I will soon be posting the latest picture of the solstice sun. Every year, I hope to do it as sort of an annual ritual. Now you will all know how high the sun gets over the Edmonton horizon at high noon on the shortest day of the year! The answer is: Not very. You can just about slip a piece of paper between the bottom of the sun and the horizon. OK, it’s a really thick piece of paper. Don’t try this at home; I’m a professional. Pictures will be posted in this post soon, but right now I am too bagged from working all day hanging a big screen LCD TV in somebody’s house who can afford one, in Sherwood Park, and then installing a network printer, in Spruce Grove.
