Run 57, 2009
Today’s run was pretty much a desperation run done after work and it was pretty much a dismal failure. I managed to finish the 11.15 kilometer run unscathed but worn out from … I hate to say it … over training? Maybe I need a rest. I don’t know how to rest. I’m still at that fearful state of mind where if I slack off for even a day I think I will lose it all. I need to cope with that and find the best solution. And I need to do it now before I begin training for my next marathon and still be able to do the next trail race plus a half marathon in October (Thanksgiving). After that half marathon I need to think about how much time off I’m going to take before beginning my marathon training for my May 2010 marathon.
