Run 77, 2009 …I sort of like running…
Yes, this may surprise you all but I really like running. Go figure. Today’s run was really nice with a cool 12 degrees and a warm sun to bask in while I ran my heart out. While I was running I occupied myself by rotating my head and stretching my neck muscles, knowing that I would be going to physio later on today after my run. While I was running, I also concentrated in turn upon every single muscle in my body, one after the other looking inside myself and checking in with that particular muscle or muscle group to make sure everything was OK. Was the muscle relaxed, or was it more tense than needed to accomplish the task at hand? Was there a way for me to improve what I was doing? I make this a habit with every run.
