The last run of the year 2007…
This is my home. Today, I ran 11 km and it was exhausting work shuffling through all that snow. I’ll update this post a little later. I managed it in an hour and a half, which is 8 minutes slower than I like. So as you can see, this year I ran 1477 km. Knowing that this was the last run and that I was being bogged down by the snow, I thought I would take a few pictures with my cell phone. …a frozen alien landscape? …a frozen country road. …and my driveway, which is exactly 400 meters long.

Year End Totals
I ran 770 km or about 479 miles in the year 2006. I biked 826 km (513 miles) this year. Since I began keeping track, my records show a total of 1035 km run (644 miles) and 944 km (587 miles) biked. But I have to say I’ve run a lot further than my records indicate because I did not start keeping track until September of 2005. In 2007 I will probably run farther and bike farther than I have since the beginning of my record keeping.

Year to date…
Total for this year is 485.3 km running and 826.01 biking. My biking has come to a complete halt for a couple weeks because of the 5peaks race and because I had a flat tire. Bought a new tube, but when I tried to install it I found out some of the tire bead was not attached to the rest of the tire, ha ha, so I had to buy a new tire as well. I still haven’t put the tire on but maybe I will have time this weekend.

Year to Date…
Since Jan 1st 2006 I have run a total of 374.3 kilometers and biked 549 kilometers. I will definitely bike over 1000 km this summer, but will I break 1000 km running by Dec 31st? Who can tell?

Year to date…
Since Jan 1 of this year I have run 341.4 km and biked 317 km. Tomorrow I plan on biking around 80 kms with my new High Sierra Hydration Pack $23.00 from Costco.
